Frequently Asked Questions

What is my IDP work setting?

Your IDP work setting is where you work and who you work for. The most common IDP work setting is under the direct supervision of a registered architect in a firm encompassing the comprehensive practice of architecture (see work setting A). You may earn experience in other work settings; however, there are limitations to the amount of experience that can be earned in alternate work settings. All of the work setting descriptions and limitations are outlined in the IDP Guidelines
