Careers in Architecture

The web site ARCHcareers.org is valuable resource for those considering a career in architecture. The site outlines the education, experience, and examination requirements to become a registered architect and lists professional development and continuing education resources to help maintain your license.

Two organizations may be of particular interest: The American Institute of Architects (AIA) is the professional membership association for practicing architects, and the American Institute of Architecture Students (AIAS) is the membership organization representing students in the profession. Both organizations provide more information about careers in architecture and offer resources for job hunting.

NCARB also has positions available for architects. Check out our Careers at NCARB section.
